I hadn’t seen anyone upload images of these yet, which is a shame because the new designs for the power up abilities in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy are soooooo cool and a delightful surprise. There was one more during the Ripto’s battle for super charge, but I couldn’t fit it in one post.

No lie, that video bummed me out and I’m not particularly attached to Gene or anything but I have always taken notice of the gay and gender jokes that surround him. I think if you’re gonna write stuff like that you shouldn’t be so ready to snuff out the possibility.
Is anyone else a little uncomfortable how the cast reacts to being asked about the possibility of Gene being gay?

Instantly arguing against the question with his age in mind is that classic internalized homophobic ideology that being gay is inherently sexual and therefore inappropriate for kids. How disappointing.
I hope in the future they can be more Woke about these kind of questions…

I may be devastated by what they did to Ripto but Reignited’s take on Sorceress is valid. I like how expressive she gets to be and that she feels a bit more involved in cutscenes cause she moves around more.
mr. frond is clearly good at art and stuff but pursues being a darn guidance counselor because he wants to help kids but is very fuckin bad at it. Bless his heart, it’s in the right place but he’s a fuckin manchild dumdum sometimes.
